The Boot ‘n Bonnet is a very active car club. Throughout the driving season there are:

  • a number of BBQ’s at members’ homes;
  • drive-and-dine events made up of a tour through scenic roads followed by a meal at a local restaurant;
  • group picnics held at scenic parks often adjacent to the historic Rideau Canal;
  • participation in local festivals;
  • overnight tours
  • an annual autojumble that marks the start of the driving season.

During the off-season the Club meets monthly in Kingston and Quinte.

Annual British Car Day

The Club’s signature event is the annual British Car Day held in August each year. Typical turn out for that event, held in a Kingston-area park is over 100 British cars dating from the 1920’s to modern British cars.

Often people will consider ownership of a British car but are concerned about finding a reliable source of information about buying and owning a British car. Membership in the Boot ‘n Bonnet eases that concern. The Boot ‘n Bonnet is blessed with a membership who have a wide range of skills and knowledge who are happy to share them with fellow members.

If you’ve got an interest in, or already own a British car think about joining us. You won’t be disappointed.
